THE LAUNCH IN LONDON
Founders Robert Ingram, Erika Walker and Kayla Ingram launched the Global Gender Economic Forum (GGEF) in London on October 26-27. Key stakeholders and institutional supporters like Sodexo, Ravensbourne (college) and the Foundation for the Support of the United Nations were co-convened to seek the achievement of Gender Equality on a global basis.
The mission of GGEF is to bring together a diverse group of academicians, business executives, entrepreneurs, policy makers, NGO representatives, community and corporate leaders to address and find solutions and strategies to gain economic equality for women worldwide.GGEF is in full alignment with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal #5 on Gender Equality. Notable Global Women leaders who delivered keynote presentations included Margot Slattery, Country President Sodexo Ireland, Dr. Josephine Ojiambo, Deputy Secretary-General for The Commonwealth Secretariat and Elisabeth Kelan, PhD, Professor of Leadership at Cranfield School of Management.
